What IDA stands for

  • Trust

Clinics and professionals checked at primary sources, never by self-declaration alone.

  • Global reach

One standard with local annexes, so a seal means the same in every country.

  • Quality standards

Admission, audit and certification against 48 published criteria.

  • Technology & support

A live public registry, embeddable badges and tools for better management.

  • Growth

Patients, continuing education and commercial alliances for members.

Built for two sides of the chair

Patients

Find professionals and clinics whose credentials you can check yourself — at home or abroad.

  • Search the registry by city, country or name
  • See what was verified, when, and for which site
  • Look for International Patient Centers before you travel
  • Report misuse of a seal or a concern about care

Clinics & professionals

Tools, reputation and growth — earned with evidence, not bought.

  • IDA seal with a live, verifiable status
  • Patient referrals and international visibility
  • Continuing education through IDA Academy
  • Commercial benefits and preferential access to DentalManager
  • A clear improvement path from Member to Center of Excellence

Four levels. Each one means exactly what it says.

Membership is not certification. Verified Professional belongs to a person. Certified Clinic belongs to one site. Excellence always names its area.

Type the ID printed on the seal or certificate, for example IDA-CC-CL-000042. A seal only counts if the registry says it is active today.

Founding pilot

We are opening with 10 to 15 founding clinics

The first cohort tests the evaluation, the real cost of auditing and how patients understand the seals. Member and Verified Professional open first; Certified Clinic is piloted in one jurisdiction.

Apply to the pilot
  1. Months 0–2

Governance, pilot-country annex, contracts and clinical review of the matrix

  2. Months 2–4

Member, Verified Professional, public registry, /verify and live badge

  3. Months 4–7

Pilot with 10–15 clinics, auditor training and calibration

  4. Months 7–10

Certified Clinic and the first two specific modules

  5. Month 15+

First Center of Excellence evaluations, with 12 months of data

Paying enables an evaluation. It never buys a decision.

  • Auditors never decide; a separate committee does, with no commission on approvals.

  • Sales staff cannot see clinical evidence or change findings.

  • No discounts in exchange for approvals, withdrawn complaints or recommended treatments.

  • Certification is available without buying membership or consulting from IDA.

How IDA is governed

Questions, answered

Is IDA a government or accreditation body?

No. IDA is a private certification scheme. It does not replace licences, public inspection or clinical decisions, and it does not claim accreditation or endorsement by any external organisation.

Does a Member seal mean the dentist is certified?

No. Members appear in a separate category with the legend “Membership — no professional verification or clinical certification”. To check credentials, look for Verified Professional; for a clinic’s processes, Certified Clinic.

How do I know a seal is genuine and current?

Every seal carries an ID and a QR that open its page at /verify. That page — not a screenshot or a printed certificate — shows the current status, scope and expiry.

Can a clinic be certified remotely?

No. Certified Clinic always requires an on-site visit. Video calls or photos are never enough.

What happens if a clinic stops complying?

The committee can suspend or revoke the certification. The public page and every embedded badge update automatically, and dependent modules are deactivated with it.

Are the prices final?

They are reference prices for the pilot, in USD and excluding taxes and travel. They will be validated with the real hours of evaluation.
